Biography
Assistant Professor, University of Thessaly, Greece
Natassa Raikou is Assistant Professor of Pedagogy at the University of Thessaly and Adjunct Professor of Adult Education at the Hellenic Open University. She has many years of teaching experience in higher education, as well as a significant number of scientific publications. She is a member of various international and Greek scientific networks, reviewer in three journals and Review Editor in the journal ‘Adult Education Critical Issues’. She has been awarded a scholarship for her PhD thesis in transformative learning and aesthetic experience in higher education and mainly in teachers’ education, while in 2016 she was awarded by the Hellenic Adult Education Association for her article in the Journal of Transformative Education. Her research interests include critical reflection, teacher education, transformative learning, teaching & learning in higher education, cognitive & developmental psychology in adulthood, art & reflective teaching.
