Fyssa Aristea

Biography

Aristea Fyssa is Assistant Professor of Special Education at the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education, University of Patras. She holds degrees from the Department of Special Education, University of Thessaly and the Institute of Education, University College of London. Her research interests focus on disability, quality inclusive education from early years till the University level, early childhood intervention, and community participation for families and children experiencing disablement and exclusion. In the light of her research interests, she has been involved in and has begun to take a research approach to initial training and professional development for educators and other professionals who interact with families and their children with disability. She has a teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study.
